In Case You Think You've Had A Bad Week........Really You Have Not
That woman is both very lucky and unlucky at the same time. She has a great attitude and I hope she can hold it together.
There is one odd sentence in there about her parents moving across the country from California to Idaho. Did I miss an earthquake or something?
So much is attitude. Friend of a friend lost their house in Santa Rosa the day before a trip to Hawaii. Boarded the plane saying "it isn't going to be there anymore whether I take the trip or not"
Wow, to experience first hand two of these events.
I was thinking how much destruction, pain, suffering and death there has been lately...flooding in Texas, hurricane in FL, hurricane in PR, earthquake in Mexico, Las Vegas shooting, fire in California...man there has been alot of tough times going on recently.
God saved her life and he wants her to not be in Vegas or the area in California where she formerly lived. Parts of California will be utterly destroyed later on as the times of the tribulations come upon the world.
When all else is lost, the future remains. You can buy new stuff, set up a new place to live. When we were facing a potentially devastating hurricane here, Irene barreling up the coastline as a Cat 3, I packed up some totes, put em in a storage unit, packed up enough things to take with me for a couple of weeks and got on out of here before the storm, knowing full well it could all be gone afterwards, and this, all this shortly after the raid in Abbottabad where they claimed to have killed Osama. I had a small suitcase full of stuff for just my eyes, since the shock of that put me into a full blown major inflammation of an auto immune disease in my eyes that I never even knew I had. I needed ice on my eyes and drops several times a day. When the sh*t hits the fan either you rise to the occasion and fight to survive or you go down like a slaughtered sheeple, taken down by catastrophe, injustice.
This lady is in the article cited is a survivor.
God saved her life
So, did god kill everybody else? Or did he just let them die in his infinite cruelty and sadism?

Yep - it's all mystical, no reason to look for any rationale. No point in clearing trees away from your forest condo - which is law in Australia, penalty for not clearing for fire safety is community service helping clear around residential areas.
Upside is Northern Calfornia has a high concentration of Wiccans, LGBT, freethinkers, and assorted liberal trash, so maybe God didn't suffer them to live, right Gina? Saved you the work of burning em at the stake as you are required to do by your command programming.
Aloha Snackbar, ya sociopathic freak.

God allows people to die sometimes at the hands of cruel, sadistic acts from mankind. As to why, it is his hope others will come back to him to ask for mercy and help. The thing God likes most is when people turn back to him. Many do not understand this, but he does allow terrible things to happen. Some of those who die are martyred, their sacrifices have been enough, others are being saved from going thru worse things, like the tribulations. The short answer as to why he allows suffering, injustice is this, it is to sift the evil people from the good people. Those who give up on him when they experience disaster are not the ones who will ultimately be with him in his Kingdom. You have to be tried and tested to be found to be worthy of him; if you do not lose your faith, you will be. Job is the most well known example. He held fast to his faith, never doubted the promises God made, and he was restored. God does not enjoy mass murder events, his first command to people was telling them not to kill. It is man who chooses to disregard this and do what he pleases, the way he pleases at the time he pleases. Mankind allowed the transgression. God only allowed free will, he will not force anyone to seek or accept him and his will.
People think if they are good, they will be rewarded and have good, safe lives. In some cases this happens, in others it does not. When it does not, it is usually because he realizes these people have the capacity to do big things to effect change for the good. Consider it a calling when you are saved from death in a disaster and someone next to you is taken at that time. You can turn bitter, or you can turn better and do something positive. That is the choice.
"Free will"…what a convenient out for those who believe in the fairy tale of a loving, merciful god. "God allows people to die sometimes at the hands of cruel, sadistic acts"…this makes him a monster if he's omniscient and omnipotent. Why not make Paddock put a bullet in his own brain before he killed 58 people if he's a loving, merciful entity? If he's not omniscient and omnipotent, then he's not god. If he is, then he's a bloodthirsty monster who puts his adulation above human life. Either way the god fantasy is the cruelest joke mankind ever inflicted upon itself.

Fishbowl logic.
Religious creeds encourage some of the craziest kinds of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and favor severe manifestations of neurosis, borderline personality states, and sometimes even psychosis.
