Remember when "they" (media) said Candidate Trump would NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, get to 1237 electoral votes? I sure do.

All day long I am hearing the same people predicting not getting to 270 electoral votes.

This is the first cogent post you've made in a very long time. You are right, most of us who think Trump will lose the general election never thought he would get the nomination. Thanks for the reminder that this is no time for complacency among those of us who believe Trump would be bad for America.

Ah, but will he accept the will of the people, and accept defeat graciously?, NO, he's going to whine like a bitch, about "the system being rigged". I thought romney had a "scumbag sense of entitlement" but nothing compared to drumpf.

No mention of Algore?

Spread out the vote enough and even someone like Jesse Ventura can be elected governor. Primary elections are completely different than general elections.

Gore stepped out of the political arena and I can only theorize that in one of his most passionate speeches he yelled "the harassment has got to stop", and I thought, he's one person who actually understands what someone can go thru. Trump is a newbie, but eventually, he will digress as everyone else who is harassed does, there comes a point when you just don't want to fight anymore. You get tired of it. He's not at that point yet. He's still in the "I can't believe how bad this corruption is, and how far it goes".

To say that he is a newbie is nothing more than an excuse. He's been doing this long enough but can't control himself. He foams at the mouth to get the last word in each & every time & situation.

You said, "Trump is a newbie, but eventually, he will digress as everyone else who is harassed does"
Response - ha ha ha ha. Trump is the personification of someone who harasses.

I love the line that so many of his surrogates use - "You have to remember he's not a politician and sometimes says the wrong things". (paraphrased)

He's an egomaniac who loves to hear himself talk and suffers badly from diarrhea of the mouth.

His downfall began at the end of the first debate when HC baited him with the Ms. Universe issue. Since then he's spiraled out of control. My guess is that after tonight's debate if he goes crazy, he'll finish himself off.

For some, this is a perfect example of selling Hillary and how great she would be.

I hate the whole "he's not a politician, he's an outsider! He's speaks his mind!" line. Total bull. My Uncle Steve is an outsider and speaks his mind, too. It's entertaining, but I wouldn't want him to be President.

Not really, Captain Snarko. But given the choices she is probably the better choice & will provide a certain sence of stability more than whatever it is that Trump offers with his "abundance of details" and ignorance of issues. Besides, you have told us you like gridlock, and with HC as prez & with a do nothing Congress, you should be thrilled. If the Dems take the Senate...well maybe things change slightly.

You can continue to hang your hat on Trump and Make America Great Again in spite of a rigged election.
