captureFox’s Greg Gutfeld said on today’s The Five that it’s a little ironic for Donald Trump to complain about the “rigged” media he benefitted from.
“True, the media is rigged,” he said, “but it was rigged for Trump all damn year. He got more free media than the weather, dwarfing not just his primary foes but Hillary as well. If it wasn’t for the media who fell over Trump every time he sneezed, we’d have a different candidate. So yeah, it was rigged, and that rigging gave us Trump.”
He said that Trump has taken the victimhood normally present on the left and ran with it as the “king of the cheated.”
Eric Bolling pushed back and said that a lot of that coverage was negative, but as far as Gutfeld’s concerned, the media made Trump, and “if you live by the media, you die by the media.”

Gutfield is wrong. Career politicians, too gutless to take a stand, too weak to represent their constituents the way they promised is what made Trump. A large group of voters is sick to death of the government and sick to death of politicians. Eight years of Obama certainly didn't hurt. The most expensive entitlement in human history was passed in way that would make a maggot puke. These are what made Trump, among others.
If you want to hear about Ms. Clinton tune into FOX. If you want to hear about Trump tune into MSNBC. This seems backwards. Why are these networks bending over backwards to furnish "free PR" to the particular candidate that they are?

Maybe that's why Republicans hate the government so much. They actually have no interest in actually governing.

The media also treated Trump like the child he is catering to his every demand and mood. The spectacle of a guy born with a golden soother that he has been unable to wean himself of constantly whining that the world is not a fair place is too much to take. The media started asking him questions which he and his minions still refuse to answer and so the media is the bad guy.

Right, but it's not enough to keep from re-electing 90-95% of the same incumbent politicians to congress every few years, apparently.
