Elizabeth Holmes: The $6 Million Dollar Question
Or maybe I should say the $9 Billion question because that was Theranos' peak valuation: Will a cute blonde who recently gave birth to her first child be held accountable for defrauding investors and putting the public's health at risk by rolling out Theranos blood testing devices at 45 Walgreens stores knowing that the devices never worked properly? If convicted she could go to jail for 20 years. I'm REAL curious if in 2021 the female sympathy angle is going to save her. IMO she should go to jail. If you want to read a great book on the subject get Bad Blood by John Carreyrou.

The hero worship has already begun

Now a juror has been excused because she is horrified at the thought of what a guilty verdict will do to Holmes.

Watch this approx 2 minute video. Then ask yourself whether or not Holmes should be convicted.
Elizabeth Holmes convicted of 4 of 11 fraud counts in Theranos trial (yahoo.com)
Guilty on 4 of 11 fraud charges! She will do jail time I'm sure. Really curious how long. It appears to me that the jury really took it easy on her because she was NOT convicted of defrauding patients which likely would have resulted in a much longer sentence. I'm glad they got her on four though. After reading Bad Blood by John Carreyrou I'm convinced she is a pathological liar, as is the author.
