Not something you hear every day. From what I can tell Jared Polis forms his own opinions and isn't beholden to all the popular views from his party. Which I always like from anyone.
You know, RFK Jr's views on vaccines aside, he is going to look at HHS and it's agencies with a liberal mind and eye. Actually not sure if the Republicans are going to be all that happy after the dust settles if he gets that role.

Let's not confuse Polis' open mind and hope for an enthusiastic endorsement. There happens to be some agreement that overlaps between the two. I do appreciate nuance rather than blind objection, but as a successful environmental lawyer you'd think he be better suited for the EPA.

A spokesman for the Governor reiterated in a statement provided to CPR that, despite his endorsement, Polis still opposes Kennedy’s stances on a host of issues such as “unscientific propaganda that undermines confidence in the lifesaving impact of vaccines” and banning fluoridation.
The Republicans definitely would not want him to be in EPA. I'm not sure if they know it yet, but I don't think they will want him at HHS either - which I'd like to see them confirm him and then have to deal with the regret of doing so (not because I hope RFK Jr would be bad in the position, I'd just like to see somebody in that position that they supported be at odds with Republicans on those issues).

- sounds like a lot of people on his side came at him and he had to issue a clarification to appease said people.
