I had a nice weekend with my gambling "problem". 😉 There were some nail biters regarding spreads though. The Michigan line went up by just a half point so if State had scored at the end I would have lost. Colorado hung on and covered. LOVED the LSU game. Watch out for them.

I didn't watch much of the OSU/Purdue game but wow! My in laws live in West Lafayette and were at the game. I almost wish OSU had won so I wouldn't have to listen to my mother in law crow about Purdue. 😉

Now my Wolverines control their own destiny.

I think Notre Dame has a cakewalk through the rest of their season. They've beaten one good team.

The biggest problem for Tennessee was the fan that tried to throw ice at Saban, missed and got kicked out by a cop (and probably banned) from the stadium. 😛

It's the SEC!

Do they always throw ice at people? 😉

I think it was the 2007 Bama-UGA game. UGA scored the game winning td in OT and a number of beverage cups got tossed at the UGA players celebrating. After it happened, fans were complaining on a message board about the cups getting tossed and one poster replied, "It's the SEC. Deal with it." Couldn't have been said any better!

We settle everything with violence, it’s the south. Speak of, I went against Clemson covering last week and they crapped in my hands. I took them to cover this week so let’s hope. Papa needs a new pair o shoes.

I got tied up and thought I made these picks. I’m secured in last place.

I took Texas A and M In another pick and I’m hopeful.

Crazy day yesterday. Lots of ranked teams lost to unranked. CU blows a 31-3 lead at home against Oregon State to lose the game in OT. That's football 😛

So Maryland changes course and fires Durkin. Interesting...

For starters, my bet is there was about to be a team mutiny.

Looking forward to this weekend. Some good games on the docket:

Michigan State / Maryland
Texas A&M / Auburn
Texas / West Va.
Georgia / Kentucky
Iowa / Purdue
Penn St / Michigan
Northwestern / Notre Dame

And of course, Alabama / LSU. I hope LSU destroys Saban but I doubt it will happen.

What's up fellas!?!

A lot of good games involving teams of interest to our friends here this week. Will be a good one!

We went to the Baylor - West Virginia game. WVU crushed them, but we had to stay til the end so my cousins could sing Country Roads. Going to Kent St - Buffalo next week. Buffalo is having a real nice year.

Hey Neb et al! Happy College Football Friday! Yep. Good matchups especially in the SEC. UGA vs KY at 12:30 p.m. UGA's offense vs KY's defense. KY's QB made some clutch plays against MO last week. He'll need to do it again Saturday. Looking forward to see what Fromm will do. He sure found his groove again.

I like both squads but since KY is the underdog (and I have KY blood too; Harlan County :P), I'm going with the Cats! GO KY BLUE!

While I like Louisville, I always smile when Bobby Petrino gets his butt handed to him. Considering all the other drama going on at Louisville (BB for one), I doubt they pull the trigger on him; $$$.

Huskers played pretty well but close doesn't count in The Horseshoe. Huskers should win two of their last three, Iowa City will be a tough road game and we haven't won one yet this year. Should be close.

Wasn't at all surprised that 'Bama smoked LSU. Tigers just don't have the offense to have made that a game.

Wouldn't be surprised if 'Cuse beats the Irish in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, sure wish the Huskers could have pulled that out. And I don't think Syracuse beats Notre Dame but I hope you are right.

Regarding 'Bama, I figured they would wup LSU. They were favored by 14.5 at LSU. That told me something in and of itself.

+1

Cuse DL is pretty good. Biggest concern is the back end and if Book has time to throw and make plays. Cuse O should definitely present a good ND D some problems.

Started at 19. All that early Illini money bringing it down.... 😉

Illini money? There is none. I think they just gave us a breathing tax. 😮

Sports handicapping website I frequent has people coming out on Illinois. 1) on principle of the line 2) ILL showed some signs of life last week. Even in the Maryland loss, the ILL O has been improving and it has been hard to trust this Nebraska D - but you have to consider how bad the ILL D is as well. With that said, I have bet ILL a few times this year, but not sure I want them here. Doubt I take a position.

Saturday was awesome. Although LSU / Bama was anticlimatic.

This weekend has a few good games but not like last weekend.

Wisconsin getting 8 at at Penn State? Seems like too much to me.

I think Mississippi State can give Bama a game. 25 points? Again, seems like too much.

Washington State / Colorado should be a good game.

Don't rule out Auburn at Georgia. It's a stretch but who knows?

I think the best game is going to be OSU at Sparty. Not sure who to take in that. OSU giving 3.5. This should be an awesome game. MSU is starting to play better since Michigan beat them and I don't know what to make to make of the Buckeyes.

The Gators were my surprise team this season and for a while, it looked like it was going to happen. I was pretty high on Mullen but after watching some of his recent post game pressers plus his antics during the Vandy game, he comes across a bit weird.
