Hoping Michigan opens up the offense to start the game. They should beat Nebraska but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't.
I don't see them losing at home but covering 18 might be a stretch.
I was somewhat surprised Illinois got pounded at home last night as bad as they did.
They covered the spread :D.
That game was a joke. I actually got bored. Can't believe how bad Nebraska is.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.
There were some good games yesterday though.
That Oregon Stanford game was something.
Army taking Oklahoma to OT?
Couldn't believe how well Purdue played.
And closer to home, I won a bet with my neighbor on the Michigan State Indiana game. She owes me $20.

Agree. Stanford didn’t make a pretty start. OK was scary. Congrats on the 20, Ark made sure that I wouldn’t be as lucky. I was hoping they could hold the score down.

Definitely men against boys. I don't expect much until maybe year three of Frost. Still stuck with Riley's lack of talent bunch.

They covered 18 both of the first two quarters.

I thought it was awesome that Army had the ball for 44 minutes of the game. To bad they couldn't get the win.
Anyone catch any of the Old Dominion/Va Tech game?! When I saw it listed on the tv channel menu, I LOL'd big time; BFD! Well as I'm checking the channels, OD is ahead. I figured WTH and watched the last 10 minutes. Props to OD for pulling it off. Their RB looked Edgeran James running through UCLA back in the day...
Good bet there will be a baby boom in Norfolk in about 9 months! 😛
Fuck a duck!!! They had them and then pooooooof it was gone!!!
Really still in shock w outcome.
I thought the officiating was terrible. Not sure there we're any guys in the booth to call down.
Oregon looks to be back but if anything Stanford looks mighty. They have more tall guys then most Cdn basketball teams. Their twin tower tight ends we're killers on Saturday.
USC Wash State game was a good one too. Things got goofy in LA in the fourth. The missed targeting call was pathetic.
Again the guys upstairs we're at the buffet table when that happened. Anyone watching saw the blatant hit to the head.
PAC12 is looking good and only going to get better with Oregon back.
DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Playing against the spreads this week in hopes of a change.
Was thinking about you guys last week, lots of games involving our ABB friends.
I think Nebraska bounces back today. I like them coming home off embarrassing loss to home fans. What you going to do hide? Bet the show out today. Both home games were winnable even though they played Troy with backup QB. Martinez said to be fully healthy for today. You never know what Purdue will do to cost them a game.
Would've called for a NW upset of Michigan today but then got the Larkin news. Big blow, they are going to have to get really creative now with their O gameplan vs what was already a daunting task vs that D.
Think SC beats UK today (finally). UK owns them of late, 5 straight. SC's O will be the difference I think.
leafsfan, oh man. I had Ducks last week too, that one hurt...bad. You think they can get off the mat at Cal? Cal head coach played at Oregon. Cal is tough. If Oregon's head is right I think they win though. Cal tough on D, respectable on O but not enough O in my opinion. Quack!
Strat! Your Bruins played so well in the first half. They had energy, looked like they were having fun, thought they might be turning a corner, then the second half came and CU just rolled. That was a hard one to swallow because the schedule doesn't appear to offer too many positives upcoming.
Bet DanB is excited for the Trevor Lawrence era to begin. Big revenge game here. Cuse is tough though. I love Eric Dungey, just the kind of college QB I love, big-physical runner, great arm strength, good enough with accuracy. Nothing personal, I hope Cuse can keep it close again for a good game. Boy Clemson D is pissed about last year though.
Good summary nebish, I hope you are wrong on Ken-So Carolina tho.
I have to catch my speller since is writes “newish” if I type yer name.
I wish everyone a great game day.

Thanks nebish. I missed the game due to my son's band performance at the local HS's football game (at least they won!). Yep. For all sorts of reasons, UCLA is a bad team. Fans are mad at CCK. Not that we expected to be in the playoff, but the inept play by the team is really surprising. Like you said about the schedule, the Bruins may be lucky if they win 2 games. As the saying goes, that's football.

eFf the gamecocks great win by Kentucky - USC looked inept at times on offense
defense has some thugs on it that have no discipline and this reflects on Muschump
Bad that Trevor got hurt but he'll be back next week. Brice settled down once Renfroe made a spectacular catch. He died a bullet on 4th & 6 on the last drive and ran for a 12 yd gain on the next play.
I kept screaming run the ball because Cuse couldn't stop the run no matter who carried the rock. ET is a special back! 203 yards and 3 td's should put him in the heisman conversation.

Nope, not this year. Even with the officials trying their best to beat us. They may have done it to us for next weeks game against A&M. The late hit by Kash Daniels was not targeting IMO. It looked like he hit him with the shoulder below the shoulder pads. Then the fumbled lateral that was ruled a forward pass, but we overcame it.
Our defense is just too good. Josh Allen is one of the best linebackers in the country, he had three sacks in spite of being held on every play. I liked him since day one. I thought he was a football player the first time I saw him. He's since grown a couple inches and put on about 60 pounds.
We lost our second left tackle this season but Mark Stoops has built a deep team but hopefully E J Clark can stay healthy or then we might be in trouble.
This team is doing things that hasn't been done since Bear Bryant was here with the 1950 team.
Go Big Blue

You can’t go out the door around here without stepping on a SC fan and they are steaming. Not at Kentucky but calling for coaches to go and hating Clemson as usual. A guy said today that the only good thing for USC was Kentucky burning the clock.

I thought along the same lines, would get max effort and playing at home. Not to be. Literally, could be looking at 1-11. In the past, we went close to a decade with about that number of losses. I've thought all along that it would be year three with Frost before we were solid. At the same time, I thought we'd be around .500 this year.
Things could really get ugly in Madison as our line play (on both sides of the ball) is lacking. And lacking rhymes with shellacking.
Here's a weekly reusable joke for the way things are going:
"Knock knock"
Scott Frost: "Who's there?"
"Owen"
Frost: "Owen who?"
"0-4"
"There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute force and ignorance"
And you go to Wisconsin this week. Good Lord.... 😮

Yes, it is great to see Kentucky football playing well. Hated to undersell them last week, but I thought that SCar would have some answers after losing to them 4 straight and some confidence on O out of the Vandy game. But man, I can't imagine the disappointment for an SC fan right now...they were less competitive vs Georgia this year and make no mistake about it, UK is above them in SEC pecking order. Even heard a bench Bentley and fire Muschamp comment.
Nebraska was really disappointing Saturday. The penalties. So many penalties at horrible times. The O in the 2nd H was able to trade scores, but when the D needed a stop, Purdue would just score again. Still think there are positives from the Nebraska home games this year, but too many mistakes and deficiencies to win games. Wisconsin did win at Iowa, but they are not as strong as they were last year. Hard to see Nebraska competing. Unexpected things do happen though.
Will be interested to see the Clemson WF game this week. WF has a pretty good O, but a really bad D. Clemson when clicking has an outstanding O so I expect Clemson to get theirs. WF OL is a strength, so the matchup in the trenches may not tilt as strongly in Clemson's favor as it normally does. Should be a fun game.
I get that Bama has more guys going to the NFL then any other program and that anyone would love to have most of their players on their team but jes louise can they at least play someone tough before they are give the golden key to the trophy case.
They haven't played anyone difficult yet and yes they can probably beat anyone but this show up and your number one crap is terrible for the College game. At least ND and Ohio have taken some risk. Bama will play Auburn and Georgia and that's it until the playoffs. I know schedules are set years in advance but rankings should reflect your schedule not your roster.
I know beating a dead horse year after year on this topic. Saban said on Saturday that giving up 31 points to Arkansas is like losing the game. Watch kind of nazi motherfucking coach is this guy?
Vent complete, go DUCKS!!!!!

I thought the same thing when I saw that. Remember the game a few years ago when they were destroying someone in the fourth quarter and he was screaming at Lane Kiffin? Does he expect to win every game 70-0?

63-3 was a ton of fun. 3 guys rushed for over a 120 yards. CU averaged 11.8 yds per rush.
Stupid Auburn. Way to screw the pooch Nebraska. Gators did what they had to do.
LSU is ahead of UGA 19-3 but UGA is driving. 4th quarter coming up.
Bruins play kal at 4 pm PDT. Hopefully we get our first win.
Enjoying some nice fall weather here in So Cal (finally rained!) while sipping my usual along with some cool tunes. College football Rocks! GO BRUINS!
I took a bath on that GA game. Glad I slept thru the 2nd half.
Strat! Bet you couldn't be happier win #1 came at the hands of Kal as you call them!
Looked at my sheet for my picks yesterday and crumpled it up for the trash. Surprisingly I won money on the games I put bets on. Watching the Michigan line move through the week I was apprehensive. When it got to 10 I thought someone knows something. So I loaded up on them.
Loved LSU at home. I can't believe the rout that was. Met a Michigan State buddy yesterday and said I really liked MSU and the points. He sent me an email thanking me. I told him I liked the points but didn't think they could win in Happy Valley.
Thought Illinois could cover 10 at home against Purdue. Boy was I wrong on that one.
Oregon / Washington game was something. I hate that timeout at the last second but it seems to work.
And Nebraska still have't won a game. Crazy.

and your preseason national champs, the Gamecocks, are now 3-3
Will Muschump stated he was bringing championships to SC
Michigan / MSU game was entertaining. Sure was chippy. Not happy with how Michigan played in some cases but we finally won there. Would hope Harbaugh has a chat with a few of his players but knowing him, I wouldn't bet on it.

Sorry for the late reply. Worked for me nebish! Bring On Bama!!!
Tuned into the Bama - Vol game and it was 28-0 Bama with 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter. Guess the Vols aren't ready for prime time just yet.
Wonder how Auburn will do. If the Tigers lose to Ole Miss, Auburn may win just one more game (Liberty). Question is will Auburn pony up the 30 mill +- to buy out CGM if that happens.
CU's carriage just turned into a pumpkin. Bruins play Arizona tonight. They should beat them but in similar situations, UCLA has made opposing 2nd or 3rd string players (Zona's starting QB is out) look like All Pro by games end.
The biggest problem for Tennessee was the fan that tried to throw ice at Saban, missed and got kicked out by a cop (and probably banned) from the stadium. 😛
