Yep, it is true. Satanists running for government political office. That is what has happened to America. When the anti-Christ does rise, he will have lots of political support, from fellow Satanists.

http://time.com/4328169/satanic-temple-steve-hill-california-state-senate-race/

Josh Sanburn reports for Time, May 12, 2016, that Steve Hill is a Democrat running for the state Senate in California’s 21st district to replace Sharon Runner, the Republican incumbent who is not seeking reelection. A former U.S. Marine, Hill is an avowed atheist and Satanic Temple organizer.
Hill ran unsuccessfully as a write-in candidate last year during a special election. He said this year he’s getting shunned by the Democratic establishment largely because of his views. He said:

“I’m a Satanist as far as trying to get people to understand that I don’t believe in the devil any more than I believe in God. All of it is stupid. But if I have to tell people I’m the devil to get them to listen, then, OK, I’m the devil. I don’t go worship Satan and pour milk on me. But [Satanism] would influence me greatly because I could deal from a different perspective, as a regular human being”– whatever that means.

Hill, who also works as a stand-up comedian in Los Angeles, is helping organize an L.A. chapter for the Satanic Temple, a nationwide Satanic activist organization. Hill said he identifies with the temple’s mission, which he described as a “humanist approach that raises levels of consciousness.” He said he reconciles his atheism with Satanism by not believing in any sort of deity or otherworldly presence and instead adheres to the Satanic Temple’s goals like keeping church and state separate.

The Satanic Temple is the group that pledged to erect a Satanic monument on the grounds of the Oklahoma State Capitol alongside one displaying the Ten Commandments. (The Ten Commandments monument has since been removed after it was smashed to pieces when a man drove a car into it.) Doug Mesner, a Satanic Temple leader and spokesman who also often goes by the name Lucien Greaves, said he doesn’t know of any members who are elected officials in the U.S., but that “every day, we’re being told of new plans for credible people within our membership to make a run for various public offices.”

See “Satanism as a new political movement in America“.

Hill said he had roughly $100 in his campaign account and that he’s essentially been abandoned by the Democratic Party and plans to file as an independent. And it’s not just the party that’s left him behind. He said many of his friends have kept their distance since it’s come out that he’s an atheist running for office. Ever the optimist, Hill said, “But I think more people are climbing out from under these rocks and saying, we exist. We’re human”– whatever that means.

About Steve Hill

An African American who began his life in poverty, Hill has dedicated his life to the service of his community. The candidate enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, earning the rank of Sergeant (E-5). He then relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the aerospace industry. After nearly a decade, he became part of the California Department of Corrections, assumed responsibility for student and faculty safety as the campus supervisor, and established his own company, Anaverde Appraisal, in the Antelope Valley in northern Los Angeles County. Having witnessed the mortgage meltdown and ongoing Wall Street corruption, as well as the underrepresentation for the working class families of America, Hill became a voice for the censored and suppressed through one of the purest forms of sociopolitical commentary, comedy. Utilizing his ability to induce laughter and joy, he addressed important issues in a dialogue-conducive environment. Final remark: Yes we are in a holy war. How much proof do you need?

Yes I am in NY. The problem is not JUST in California or that they plan to take Los Angeles or other cities. But this is even more disturbing.

http://time.com/3973573/satanism-american-history/?iid=sr-link1
In 1978, the U.S. Army even included the group in the manual of “Religious Requirements and Practices” delivered to its hundreds of chaplains. (TIME mentioned that the manual explained that Church of Satan devotees might need “candles, a bell, a chalice, elixir, a sword, a gong, parchment and ‘a model phallus but that the chaplain's would not be required to provide those materials")

The US Military even has to be able to provide the tools for the Satanic church members rituals, while they are serving in the military. So we are fighting against people who claim they are holy warriors and we have to be able to supply supplies to Satanic military members.

He had a chance to choose his path. He chose the path of darkness rather than the light. God is from the light, Satan is from the darkness, that is where Satan was banished to. Do you really want Satanists in public office, making laws and creating the direction of the country, I also read there are already some in Florida in public office. 'On December 2, 2014, before the Lake Worth City Commission’s meeting, a self-described “anti-theist” named Preston Smith gave an invocation to Satan, among other pagan deities. The dictionary says “invocation” is “the summoning of a deity or the supernatural.” That means, Smith summoned Satan to Lake Worth.

McVoy said if there was an issue it should have been handled in advance, and that walking out was “very un-American, and a slap in the face to the principles people fought very hard to make sure we had those rights.”

Let me take it further, Bob, would you want a Satanist in the White House?

A chance to represent Satanic constituents? Well I guess he will. And when there are other Satanists in your legislative district, you will vote for them to represent you too. They have lots of chapters, might already be one near you, if not you can start one and give your oath of allegiance and service to Satan. They already have chapters in these places Seattle, Tulsa, Utah, San Antonio, St. Louis, San Jose, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, NY, (NYC) Minnesota, Maine, West Florida, Detroit, Arizona, Italy (how coincidental and the Vatican is in Italy too).

Do yourselves a favor. Realize that all this god/satan bullshit is a creation myth from times when there was no science, no telescopes, no electricity… just fantasies created by nomadic tribes terrified by eclipses, dark nights, predators eating their goats, etc….people who knew even less about reality than we do. This just happens to be the dominant Western creation myth, no different than the coyote who created the world, the turtle upon which the world sits, the scarab who holds the planets together. Unfortunately, religion in all forms continues its superstitious grip on the human psyche, providing justification for genocide, discrimination of all sorts, a handy tool for manipulation of the masses...

Yes he does.

I personally think religion is the cause of most of the bullsh!t in the world.

As an atheist, if I testify in court, why on Earth should I swear an oath on a bible???

Religion is certainly at the root of most wars in history. As far as court goes, in most places, if not all, in the U.S. you no longer have to swear on oath on the Bible. You can opt to simply say "I affirm I will tell the truth...".

Did you even read your original post? He is an atheist and does not believe in any diety. He does not worship the devil. When he refers to the Satanic Church he is referring to the group that is anti religion, not devil worshipers. I know you don't care as you think anybody who doesn't believe in God is the anti-Chist, but then you believe that Trump is a Godly man, so you are obviously easily fooled.

Thank you for clarifying that he is an atheist. If someone does not believe in God, that is their right, even God gives them the right to do that, that is freedom of choice and free will. There is a group called the Church of Satan, which is different from the Satanic Temple group that Steve Hill is associated with. The belief of most of these people is this:

"Since the Satanist understands that all Gods are fiction, instead of bending a knee in worship to—or seeking friendship or unity with—such mythical entities, he places himself at the center of his own subjective universe as his own highest value.

We Satanists are thus our own “Gods,” and as beneficent “deities” we can offer love to those who deserve it and deliver our wrath (within reasonable limits) upon those who seek to cause us—or that which we cherish—harm".

Now, they say that they do not believe in God, that they themselves are their own gods, they decide right from wrong, they decide who to punish. People who believe in God, adhere to the guidance and laws he gave to man (which he sent down as a mercy to man to make it easier for him to live and not be as frustrated in the course of their daily lives). God described the ways he wanted people to live by, and he reserved vengeance and punishment for himself to levy on people because he knows all things, man only knows some things. The Satanists having rejected God, have taken the rights God reserved for himself and think they can do those things for themselves. If they decide someone did something wrong, they will decide if he should be punished or killed for the offense.

I have only accused one person of being, or being associated with the anti-Christ. I know very well the attributes of the anti-Christ and I believe I know where he will come from, and who he already is. There is even Islamic historical data that points to him, (putting him close to the region where the person lives today) though their description of him is different. There are things that will happen politically and in the world prior to his being given the role of one world ruler, but things are taking shape for that to happen. The merging of countries into large blocs (they will have to merge for their own financial survival) will be one of the things needed. Portugal, Italy, Greece, Spain will merge and they will probably merge with Britain, France and Germany, that will probably be the start of that.

I know that Trump believes in God and wants to do good and do the right thing. When you look at all the power mongers who are against him, and who some of them are affiliated with (Bilderberg group, the Bohemian Grove-Illuminati power elites), it is quite obvious. They want to take him down and destroy him. If you put a Satanist in the White House, you will end up with the United States of Satan, there will be no more America. Trump may not be perfect, but his values are more in line with what God wants from a person. He knows right from wrong.

We are at a turning point in history, Osama wanted to see the United States of Islam, Steve Hill if he rose thru thru the ranks could give you the United States of Satan, Trump would give you the United States of America - while it's true he might wanna think of the White House as Trump House, he would represent us the way God believing people want to be represented, and there are a lot of people who will not say anything, but IF he is the nominee, when they go to the polls, they will be pulling that lever for Trump.

As an atheist, if I testify in court, why on Earth should I swear an oath on a bible???

It's ridiculous. You might as well be required to testify with a necklace of garlic and holding a silver cross to ward off the lawyers.

Even if you are religious, it is a sin to swear by the name of God, or to use the bible as a magical object, so the ritual is a joke.

"But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: 35Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil"

Maybe they should change the oath to "do you promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" and the person should say "yes I will". I had never thought that the Bible being used in a ritual, or as a magical object.

Outside the courtroom, people do give oaths of allegiance to God in religious ceremonies where they declare their faith. I do not know that it is necessary because he knows who is his and who is not. What everyone else knows or thinks does not matter. We are only accountable to him.

Actually I followed up on the bible/oath question, and although it is on the books as archaic law in some states, it is rarely if ever enforced. When you testify you raise your right hand and swear to tell nothing but the truth and the rest of it. And if you have a good lawyer then it will be the truth.

Tradition? I recall there was something different when the current POTUS took his oath, he used a different Bible or something.

Gina's story keeps changing. She thought the guy was a Satanist, but he is an atheist. You expect intelligent discourse on anything from her? She doesn't understand what she reads. 😛

I don't think Satan has the same equal rights as God. The religion of Satan is serving oneself, how can it even be regarded as a religion? For people to equate themselves with God or declare that they themselves are god is a blasphemy in any of the other religions. If someone chooses to have no religion or belief in God, that is their choice, but they cannot say that they are a religion if they have no belief in God. They seek to re-define religion.

You cannot dismiss someone's beliefs, but the question is do you want someone who does not believe in God to represent you? The representation can effect many things in your life as their level of influences increases within the govt. Do you want to live in a Godless nation? With no regard to his laws and guidance because that is what the Satanists and Godless people want, those are the changes they want. They want God to go somewhere else.

Why isn't he affiliated with an Atheist Temple, no he is part of a Satanic Temple. Don't the Atheists have groups, like the United Church of Atheists if they are a religion? Why do they put Satan at the head of their group?

i've read the thread and followed jk........and i know what gina posts in general......uhmmmm......i'd like to think she understands that the word "muslim" could be inserted for "satanist" or "atheist" or any other "*ist" in this election year.

i'm concerned about the "*isms" and "*ists" that we all keep grouping people into or joining.

personally i wish humans could accept each other and all ideas.

.....said the lizard person

LOL

sorry i lost train of thought

I have only accused one person of being, or being associated with the anti-Christ. I know very well the attributes of the anti-Christ and I believe I know where he will come from, and who he already is.

Hey! No fair teasing! Who's the anti-Christ? Or associated with?

Not necessarily, the truth did not come out even in the pic you put up until she was in rendition like conditions, being restrained and interrogated . Prior to that no one knew the evil that lurked inside. The same could be said of our politicians. Wonder how many could survive an exorcism! Maybe they should have one as part of the vetting and confirmation process. Might be interesting.

Any?

If someone chooses to have no religion or belief in God, that is their choice, but they cannot say that they are a religion if they have no belief in God. They seek to re-define religion.

so Scientology or ok drawing a blank....but there are other "religions" fall into this statement?

You cannot dismiss someone's beliefs, but the question is do you want someone who does not believe in God to represent you?

sounds kinda dismissive. and i don't really care about their religious beliefs.....i concern myself more in their conviction of .....hmmm...uhm....for lack of better.....how they intend to run a/our society.

The representation can effect many things in your life as their level of influences increases within the govt.

that is why we vote.

Do you want to live in a Godless nation? With no regard to his laws and guidance because that is what the Satanists and Godless people want, those are the changes they want. They want God to go somewhere else.

i don't know of a godless nation on this planet. nor would i want to live in a christian, jewish, muslim, hindu.......buddist.........whatever

the world is like soup....there are many ingrediants.....some people like garlic and some don't.....but you still put it in the soup
