Saw the show last night at town hall nyc.Very different side of Warren than I'm used to but I knew that going in.Thought the show was great.I've always liked Warrens acoustic side but this was taken a couple steps further with a banjo, mandolin, and fiddle which all sounded great, the fiddle was amazing. They did a cover of patchwork quilt that was awesome also soul shine. The new songs were all very good & we'll played.Purchased the new disc and have been listening all day today a couple of standouts for me are tracks1-4-5 So far there all good the bonus disc is Warren acoustic which is excellent I've been a big Warren fan for 15years plus in my book he can do no wrong I think he's great the crowd showed him a lot of Love he was very thankful. So check him out if you can you will not be disappointed.

I too was at the show. I really like the new album and despite the singer-songwriter/Americana flavor to it, there is still plenty of jamming and soloing. The show barely exceeded two hours which is remarkably short for a two set Haynes show which just shows how spoiled we all are.

I knew Warren would thrive playing this bluegrass style with Railroad Earth after seeing them play a one time show at the Capital a couple of years ago. They were amazing that night with one hour of rehearsal under their belts.
