Went back and read every post, "moron" and "idiot" was said by two posters, not a "cast of characters" and I think "moron" was repeated, maybe once. There was zero piling on, no flaming. Most of the posts were civil discourse, mostly thoughts on why Roy Moore failed. Not an insult and bashing thread at all. Until the thread tanked and became one of threads that just talks about itself and not the topic.
Brer, that's because BIGV thinks he's somehow above it all, even though he comes on here to do the exact same thing. Every one of his posts are different ways of saying "I hate liberals", as if making that point over and over is "better". And what's wrong with calling people idiots, morons, crooked, lying, etc? Isn't that what the majority of America wants? Shouldn't we follow our leader?

Nothing wrong with calling folks anything. Some of the worst insults I ever got here were from folks who are my brothers now, because I laughed and rolled out. It's the Whipping Post, last stand for free speech in all its ugly glory.

Unfortunately that poster is a humorless sociopath who doesn't know what friendship is.
