Zac Brown Band

Well, won tickets to see the Zac Brown Band in Dallas on Nov. 6. This makes the 3rd year in a row that I've won tickets to see them. They put on an awesome show, and their new album is really good as well. Anyone else in here fans of them?

I am a big fan of them. First time I saw them was at the Peach Fest (2012). Really enjoyed the music and have been going to see them in concert every year since then.

Whatever happened to Oteil joining this band? Was that just a one off deal?

Listened to the new album yesterday. The songs where they tried to go straight up pop didn't work for me. The rest of the album was a good listen. Thinking of getting tickets for the Detroit show.

Saw them in Atlanta May 8th. I've been a fan since the Chicken Fried days just have never seen them live. My expectations were very high.... I was not disappointed. Great show by very talented musicians. We had 6th row seats at the Verizon Amphitheater, it was awesome.
Yeah some of the stuff is poppy, some of it is syrupy and some of it just freaking rocks. Got some great covers: A) Sandman B) Bohemian Rhapsody C) Let it Be D) Can't You See
2 hours and 50 minutes. Played the entire new album.
Love the new cuts "Heavy is the Head" and "Junkyard"
Great show.

I like The Zac Brown Band. There is a cut Dress Blues that I enjoy. Jason Isbell wrote the song about a young man from his community. True story.

Really dig their ability to play pretty much any kind of song. They have mentioned the ABB as one of their influences too.

Dig the tune I'm hearing all over radio "Heavy is the Head." Chris Cornell is a great choice to guest on this tune...Never seen Zac Brown live but it sounds like they deliver and are some damn fine musicians.

I bought his recent greatest hits cd.
Half of it is really good. Too many ballads on there that start to grate for me.
Maybe I'd have to catch him live.
