OK, visualize this, four of the musicians either you feel had the biggest influence on Rock 'n Roll or simply your four favorites on a Mt. Rushmore type of rock wall face.....Only one member per band.

1) Chuck Berry
2) Duane Allman
3) Mick Jagger
4) Lowell George

Jimi Hendrix for the Washington

Was thinking Duane for the Jefferson, but anything Jefferson belongs to Jorma Kaukonen, so,

Jorma for the Jefferson

Garcia for the Roosevelt

Duane Allman for the Lincoln

good idea for a photoshop project.

Going with the Personal Rushmore --

Duane, SRV, Jimi, without batting an eye.... but having a rough time choosing a 4th between Clapton, Derek Trucks, Lowell George, and Roy Buchanan. Because he hasn't been on here yet, and, as a de-facto rep for the relatively younger generation on here, I'll say Derek. (I know the rules were "not from the same band" but SkyDog and DT never played together so I'm counting them separate even tho they were the bookends for the Brothers)

Duane, Stevie, Jimi, Derek.

Wail on!!

The cover of Deep Purple's "In Rock" provides a decent answer...

....like some of the other posters, I'd be happy to pick some faves, and maybe I'd narrow it down just to guitar players. Today, I'll say Jeff Beck, Tommy Bolin, Derek Trucks, and Mick Taylor.

I guess I'm hard core. I'd have to go with:

Duane
Dickey
Warren
Derek

Rename it "Mount Jam"

How anyone could leave Dylan off of this list is way beyond me. Yeah, I know I did, but my post was obviously in jest.

There are four or five Dylans, with this last post - might just get Dylan on Mt. Rockmore.
