Your Musical Mount Rushmore

OK, visualize this, four of the musicians either you feel had the biggest influence on Rock 'n Roll or simply your four favorites on a Mt. Rushmore type of rock wall face.....Only one member per band.
1) Chuck Berry
2) Duane Allman
3) Mick Jagger
4) Lowell George

Jimi Hendrix for the Washington
Was thinking Duane for the Jefferson, but anything Jefferson belongs to Jorma Kaukonen, so,
Jorma for the Jefferson
Garcia for the Roosevelt
Duane Allman for the Lincoln
good idea for a photoshop project.

Jimi
Duane
Jerry Garcia
Bob Dylan
alternative answer - the Beatles

Chuck Berry
John Lennon
Elvis Presley
Little Richard

This is tough.
Duane Allman
Paul MCCartney
Jerry Garcia
Elvis -can’t remember the last name

, four of the musicians either you feel had the biggest influence on Rock 'n Roll or simply your four favorites.
1) Chuck Berry
2) Duane Allman
3) Mick Jagger
4) Lowell George
Ok, I will make this a two parter, and more, since it was suggested fav's and influential.

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Robert Johnson
Duane Allman
Jimi Hendrix
Jerry Garcia

John Lennon
Muddy Waters
Miles Davis
Bob Dylan

OP was for RnR. I will add a category for jazz and blues because they influenced most of our choices
Jazz
Bird
Miles
Trane
Monk
Blues
Robert Johnson
Blind Willie Johnson
Elmore James
Muddy Waters

Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, & Keith Richards
Tough to leave out so many icons, Honorable mentions.....Gregg, Duane, Dickey, Stevie Ray, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and a few more from the '50's plus some recents with musical resumes.

Going with the Personal Rushmore --
Duane, SRV, Jimi, without batting an eye.... but having a rough time choosing a 4th between Clapton, Derek Trucks, Lowell George, and Roy Buchanan. Because he hasn't been on here yet, and, as a de-facto rep for the relatively younger generation on here, I'll say Derek. (I know the rules were "not from the same band" but SkyDog and DT never played together so I'm counting them separate even tho they were the bookends for the Brothers)
Duane, Stevie, Jimi, Derek.
Wail on!!

Tiny Tim
Mungo Jerry
Captain Beefheart
Wild Man Fischer

john Lennon
Eric Clapton
Buddy Holly
Elvis

The cover of Deep Purple's "In Rock" provides a decent answer...
....like some of the other posters, I'd be happy to pick some faves, and maybe I'd narrow it down just to guitar players. Today, I'll say Jeff Beck, Tommy Bolin, Derek Trucks, and Mick Taylor.

Chuck
Duane
Jimi
Rory

1st Team
Hank Williams
Muddy Waters
Miles Davis
Chuck Berry
2nd Team
Jerry Garcia
Richard Thompson
Otis Spann
Bill Evans

Individuals is much tougher than bands for me. First pass, off the top of my head, I'd go with....
Gregg Allman
Paul McCartney
Gary Louris
Eric Clapton

As far as Musical influences, that is so tough for me to pick
Tony Iommi
BB King
John Bonham
Chuck berry
But I could make a 100 choices easily.

alternative answer - the Beatles
X2 -- I go with Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, James Brown, Beatles
Dylan, Coltrane, Jimi -- they deserve their place as do others

I guess I'm hard core. I'd have to go with:
Duane
Dickey
Warren
Derek
Rename it "Mount Jam"

Haha, Mount Jam, good one.
Looks like Chuck Berry, Duane Allman, and Jimi Hendrix are making the cut here. Havent counted up who would be the fourth, saw a few Elvis maybe.

How anyone could leave Dylan off of this list is way beyond me. Yeah, I know I did, but my post was obviously in jest.

There are four or five Dylans, with this last post - might just get Dylan on Mt. Rockmore.

Bob Dylan
Lenin/Mccartney
Springsteen
Mick Jagger

Frank Sinatra
Johnny Cash
Jimi Hendrix
Aretha Franklin
One change. Elvis Presley for Johnny Cash.
My own personal MR:
Mick Jagger
Rory Gallagher
Gregg Allman
Chrissie Hynde

Going with the biggest influence on Rock n' Roll as pertaining to the OP's question...
Chuck Berry
Little Richard
Elvis Presley
Link Wray

John Fogerty, Stu Cook, Tom Fogerty, Doug Clifford

Only one member from each band!
