Yes - I saw that on Facebook a few days ago - sad news.
Never got to see him live, but have a show or 2 on my mp3 player...great stuff.

I have a cd that Skip had worked on, (maybe studio?) that he had me hand deliver to Pedro Arevelo one year.

(May have been a session with Yosi & Pedro)

If I can find it I'll be glad to send you guys a copy.

Yossi was a great player with unique tone and phrasing, and even more important, he was a wonderful man.

I will always treasure my memory of hanging backstage with Yossi at the old Jake's Roadhouse in Atlanta, smoking hash and talking music.

RIP Yossi 🙁

Thanks for posting this thread. He had a great sound and vibe about him. I had the pleasure of catching him live once in a club in GV in NYC several years ago. He played that night with Yonrico and Tal. It was a good night of music. I always meant to explore his recordings more..I'll get to that yet.
