This channel needs to be permanent. Lets start a movement to get this music the respect it deserves.

I loved that station. Listened to it daily while it was on. Some of the highlights:
-Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams Jr singing The Conversation .
-Skynyrd's post crash output was much better than most poeple give it credit for . I heard plenty of tunes that I had never heard of that I enjoyed listening too .
-Hearing tunes from the Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Outlaws, Marshall Tucker , 38 Special etc..
-The guest DJ's told plenty of interesting stories while spinning some great songs . Gary Rossington, Johnny Van Zant, Charlie Starr, Devon Allman were a few of the DJ's.

I miss it!

Not a big southern rock fan. ABB, such as they are in that genre, is it for me.

I’ll rock out to Outlaw Country on Sirius/XM all day, though.

Exactly why I posted this thread. I was shocked at how much good music they made. Plus all the other southern rock awesomeness. Why this isn't a permanent channel is beyond my comprehension. Why there are so many less deserving permanent channels is beyond me.
