Wilco 9-16-2015

Went and saw Wilco for the first time tonight and it was a great show. The first part of the show was the new album played straight through. It is a solid album and was cool to see but I would of rather had them perform all the songs through out the night with older material mixed in. The second part of the main set was a good mix of songs from through out there career and the band was really in top form. After the main set they did a 2 song first encore and then a six song acoustic second encore. That second encore was worth the $60 by itself. What was the best part of the night for me was that the crowd was there to see Wilco and everyone in the area I was in was focused on the show and were not talking. So overall a great night of music and if I had the money and vacation time I'd go see them again next week when they are back in Michigan.

Have seen them 4 times or so and Jeff Tweedy solo and with his band (and son) and loved every one of them. I really like his voice, his lyrics and how he crafts the songs. He tells good stories and engages with the audience. Highly recommend their shows and I have some friends who go to multiple shows on the tour and love it. Glad you enjoyed!
