Who do you think will be appearing at Warren’s Christmas Jam?

Based on past history, the Christmas Jam should be announced this week. Any speculation as to who will be announced or who you think is realistic as appearing?

Well...it's up on the Christmas Jam site, take a look. My initial reaction was shock but then I.we.to realize that at this point in his career Warren deserves to work w platinum-selling artists. Hrs been on the grind for us jammers for AGES. Good on you Warren! Reinforces that I just need to grow up now that ABB is gone, and that's okay.

I saw the lineup and will probably skip the trip to Asheville for this. The first day lineup does absolutely nothing for me other than Dark Side Of The Mule. I like the second day lineup much better. But given that I might fly to see the Mule on Saturday ( I have a home in Boca Raton), and I am going to the Beacon, I am skipping Asheville.

Somewhat disappointing to me for the 30th. I guess a lot of people would be excited for Dave Grohl. Me, not so much. The Mule and Bonamassa would be about it.

Well the Dave Grohl looks to be just playing his 25 minute instrumental. That's all it mentioned about him.
Not a fan of this line up. The 20th was so much better.
Eric Church, Jamey Johnson, Grace Potter, Mike Gordon all do nothing for me.

Not to be a Negative Nellie but I sure am glad I'm not shelling out $ for this.
Gotta give Warren one thing: he sure can mix things up.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

You guys are nuts.

You guys are nuts.
Tell ya what; you pay for all of our travel expenses. In return will all chip in 50 cents apiece and buy you a beer. 😛

Even with that, I probably wouldn't put forth the effort for the first night. And, even if I went the second night, I would probably go to the lobby while Eric Church was on stage.

Glad i made it to the 20th edition back in 2008. Wow, what an amazing weekend. Two-nighter plus the pre-jam. Unbelievable that it's almost 10 years ago. Cool to read that many people that went to multiple editions refer to 2008 as their favorite.

Not terrible lineups but in dire need of blues or blues rock musicians.

Yes, I had the pleasure of meeting you that weekend!

I think it's cool to see Warren branching out like this.
Though I'm not a huge fan, Dave Grohl and Eric Church bring big name branding to the Jam.

That pleasure was mutual! You were very helpful on that thursday afternoon when my buddy Phillip and i were desperately trying to get in the Orange Peel for the Pre-Jam. I think we met at the Tap Room and then went over to the Orange Peel. Mule Van was standing outside. Around 19:00 hrs during Warren's accoustic opening song we got the green light and with our donation to Habitat For Humanitas we got in!!! You (and later on even Kirk West) were pleading for us with the staff to let us get in in case the Orange Peel wasn't filled to capacity around 19:00 hrs on the basis that we had especially flown to Asheville from Europe to be at the (Pre) Jam. What a relief and what a great night!

would be worth it to see Joe B and Jimmy V mix it up like this...

Jamey Johnson is great. One of my favorite vocalists (has just struggled to write/record much new music in recent years). Listen to the song he wrote for the Johnny Cash project (using Cash lyrics/poem):
