The title of a great Bugs Bunny cartoon and a sincere question.
I was downloading the Dylan/Dickey torrent -diverted(?) to a third part called Opera and given the choice of "sharing download with "peers" (fellow users). Is this relatively safe? I don't want hacks or viruses!

torrenting works by the source files coming from and going to multiple sources at one time through your torrent client. That's why it is clicker than just downloading a file from someone / someones site
I supposed it is possible to get a virus from the original file - use only reliable sites, look at the file you d/l before you open it and if you want scan it first. Sharing a file shouldn't get you infected, just downloading.
