Another great album of instrumental tunes where organ features prominently in the mix. This is their debut (and only) album. Seems like they must've disbanded sometime after their debut album, as there's nothing else they released afterwards. A shame, since this is such a solid debut.

Thank you.  I saw Joe that tour with my gal pal that June.  The bill included Stevie Ray Vaughn (sadly died two months later) and John Lee Hooker plus other Blues acts.  We both enjoyed all things Rock N' Roll.  Rock In Peace Cathy. 🌹

Recorded during the same sessions as Buena Vista Social Club, Rubén's debut album was released when he was 77 years old and has since sold over 600,000 copies worldwide. Recorded in just two days - without overdubs - it is a sheer delight from beginning to end, capturing the sound of a master reunited with his muse.
