Stinging, nasty, dextrous, melodic - that’s Leslie’s slide playing on Crossroader - still have TRGEOn from not long after it came out

Also, the slide solo on Grand Junction, by Poco, on Atlanta Pop (Rusty Young?) - they’re my two non-Duane go-to slide guitar songs (also Jimmy’s dreamy WIAWSNBe solo, Zepp II)

Dig that Malo too , hadn’t heard of Jorge’s May 2020 passing

Am listening on clear-as-day vinyl to Passion & Warfare, Steve Vai

Here's a two-fer from Richard Thompson...

He's been one of my favorite guitarists & lyricists for many years and even after 53+ years of superb playing, he's still at the top of his musical game.

No way!  I gave it a spin the other day too.  Neil Young said JJ was the best guitar player he ever heard.  Cheers!

North Mississippi All Stars "Up And Rolling"

"Mean Old World" with Jason Isbell and Duane Betts. Real nice outro jam between Luther Dickinson & Duane.

In the car today, we listened to Pandora, John Hiatt channel. Lot's of John and TTB. Very pleasurable. Having seen John and the TTB many times it brought back fond memories of live music we are no longer able to witness. My wife and I live in south, and I mean south, Texas. There are no professional, nationwide, opportunities available. Must travel five to six hours to see anything that interests us. Anyhow, John and TTB were outstanding as always.

A live two-fer from The Rolling Stones...

Two of my all-time favorite Stones songs. I've seen them perform live several times over a 40 year span but I've yet to be at a show where they perform either of those songs live.
