To be discussing a reunion ... before the breakup ... just seems strange. Whatever.

What bands that hang on too long lose is their dignity. Wind up going out on a sour note (no pun). While I hated the Beatles breaking up, at least they didn't have that "cr@ppy last album". Imagine (no pun) them ending on a Ringo and Paul version of the Beatles? Kinda where we are here folks.

Helped along no doubt by the fact that they don't put albums out...

😛

Interestingly, the best stuff from Paul, John and George in particular right after their breakup up could have made for two more great Beatles records.

A Kirk West photo by way of Alan Paul's fan page. Love it!

Some really amazing photos in there. Thanks for sharing. Probably my favorite of the bunch. Brings a smile to my face.

Thanks... that last photo was actually from 1986 joint solo tour.

KIrk and I spent days poring over images and there were some hard decisions - someof which will be altered or paperback - but this one was a no brainer... it was in as soon as I saw it.

I should be at all the Beacon shows BTW and will be posting setlists, updates, photos, whatnot on the FB page.

I'll take "Hittin' the note" over any recording of DB & Great Southern I've heard since its release.

The Beatles turned down All Things Must Pass, and I think by the time the band broke up George had just been stashing a lot of songs because he either didn't want to give them to the Beatles or knew John and Paul wouldn't give him more than a couple of songs per album.
