Warren Haynes joined Friends of the Brothers for "Whipping Post" - story and video

Very cool Alan. Warren is a fine man and great guitarist.
I still remember the first time I saw/heard Warren in a small club in North Carolina in 1988 with the Dickey Betts Band.
I hadn't heard of Warren before or Johnny Neal or Matt Apts.
They put on a fine show and old Dickey was playing and singing well that night.

Wow very nice, would have loved to see that. But Canada is a bit too much for a road trip.
Catching the "Friends" a couple of times this fall, Delaware & Morristown NJ.

Wow, you guys sounded great!!!

That's so cool, Alan, very happy for you to be riding this wave. Savor these moments!

Thanks all.
@porkchopbob - I am definitely savoring them!
@Mulemewarren - Great. Looking forward to those shows!

Congrats, Alan --- what an honor and privilege ---- happy for you and your bandmates!

I was there! A excellent show by Friends of the Brothers and the Warren sit in was incredible. The stage was setup with an empty mic stand in the middle from the get go so the anticipation for Warren’s arrival was pretty high. Warren killed it of course and rest of the show was excellent as well - fantastic Blue Sky and a special Liz Reed to finish. Spectacular Canadian late night set - go see Friends of the Brothers if you get the chance!
