Very surprised to hear Illness is not on this collection given how often they played it in those years as the interviewer very aptly pointed out.

Regardless, these Peach Picks are in good hands with Warren helping call the shots!

Really looking forward to seeing more of these, such as a Jackie P. era release.

As many have stated before; since a new studio album was not released near the end, there's enough material from the live shows to put out an album with unreleased songs (live recordings) such as Egypt, Bag End, I Found a Love, Dusk Til Dawn, Blind Willie McTell, Spots of Time, Feel Like Breaking Up Someobody's Home, 1983, etc.

Or the last lineup of the band doing all instruments would be awesome... call the album 'Instrumental Illness'. Put True Gravity, Kind of Bird, Illness, Egypt, Bag End, Mt. Jam w/ a Birdland, Liz Reed, Hot Lanta, Jessica all on it. There's some great takes of all these tunes from '03 til the last Beacon run.

“Every version we did in the studio, and definitely, every version we did live, was different.”

I’d very much like to hear all those outtakes !

Thanks for posting Smile

Did the Allmans record soundboards of all of their shows from the early 2000s, or only the shows which were released via instant live?

I really hope they did this, but if they did not record soundboards of all the shows the way other bands do I would also understand. But that's why there are high quality AUDs and tapers.
