Damn. Hope he heels up good and gets feeling better.
Looks like anything June and after is still a go.

Wow! Sure hope he heals soon. Looks like I won't see them in Chicago.

Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

Lucky it is just a fracture and no serious permanent damage. The Mule is my favorite band that still tours and makes new music so I look forward to Warren getting better and resuming touring

Ouch! I work in the medical field, radiology and that is not an easy bone to break. I wonder if it was more of the glenoid fossa area?
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

@jszfunk Ah well what is the glenoid fossa area??
Sometimes it is crazy easy to injure yourself. I had a friend who slipped on some icy stairs and broke his right arm two winters in a row. In a cast for weeks two winters in a row, same steps, same arm!!Â
Hopefully Warren will heal quickly and have a full recovery.Â
I saw a couple of Warren's solo shows in 1992 and after the show, Warren was friendly and signing autographs and someone said " You covered one of Gregg Allman's songs, Just Before The Bullets Fly" and Warren said " No Gregg covered a song I worked on".Â
When I got home I looked at Gregg's Just Before The Bullets Fly album and sure enough Warren was a writer on that.Â

I kind of wondered the same..... the scapula is a large bone and never really hear of breaking one it seems. But the glenoid area makes sense if you fell on side of shoulder and jammed that area hard..... Wish Warren well, any shoulder injuries are challenging, it is one of the most complex dimensional joints in the body.

My sister-in-law fractured hers a couple of years ago by falling backwards onto the edge of a stone step ... very painful ...

This year's Mule-O-Ween= "Bride of Scapula".
Get well soon Warren. Sometimes life can be a slippery slope.
