At the Peach, Warren told a brief story during wake up with warren ( or Hungover with Haynes, as he called it). Paraphrasing but essentially was this

After he played Into the Mystic he said, that was bill grahams favorite song, people often ask why we play van Morrison covers with Allman brothers. Well, we were at the Bill Graham memorial service and that song was playing while they showed all these slides of Bill and his life, backstage afterwards, people kept telling us how that was Bill's favorite song. After hearing it so many times, I turned to Dickey Betts and said, you know, we should play that, well, it took awhile but it was bill favorite tune

Surprised no peach fest posts. Only went Sunday, took my 5 yr old son and wife. Son really wanted to see Warren. He said, i know don't know what warren will ever play, but I hope he does Mountain Jam, since we are on a mountain. It was short, but longer than normal tease, as he did hit some mountain Jam, with a rainbow behind us at the time. Fun night. Whipping post was a lot faster then I have heard in a long time, and really pumped the fans. Warren announced, i know you have been here all weekend, rain, etc, but we are going to re set the stage quick and do a special encore set. I would stick around, if i were you.

It was worth it. Come and go blues, dreams (w oteil), and Whipping post to finish. We just said, lets cut out at beginning of encore, but when warren said that,we had to stick around, and he was right, worth it. He did that once before at a Christmas jam.w were at, so we knew to trust him.
