Thanks for sharing thomike, I was at last night's show at the Roadrunner in Boston and it was great to see Oteil and Warren jam together again.

Oteil's band was very good as he has two excellent guitarists. They played a set that sounded to me like some fusion-type jazz and Dead-type jams.

Warren did come out and play Liz Reed with Oteils band and it started slowly as Warren was having some issues getting the small combo amp he was playing through to his liking. It seemed to throw him off for a bit at first but once they started taking the solos he sorted things out and he had a great interplay with Oteil's guitarists. Oteil was in his glory playing with Warren, smiling ear to ear and bopping around. Interesting see him playing a 6 string bass. Also great versions of Dreams and Sugaree later in the Mule set with Oteil, his guitar players, and keyboard player joining the band.

Also saw the Mule the night before at Look Memorial Park in Northampton, MA. It was a beautiful night and a great outdoor venue among the trees. They did a fantastic version of Rocking Horse I think even Lee would have liked. 😊

Just downloaded the two shows from Muletracks. Love being able to get the shows I just saw the day after the concert at a reasonable price.

Are you going tomorrow mule?

I am tempted as my wife is out of town on business and my two teenage daughters are going to the Providence Water Fire Festival tomorrow night so I am solo.

A long drive, 2 hours each way, from my home but sounds like it will be a great day of music as they canceled one of the two Westville Bowl shows and made Saturday's concert a sort of mini all-day festival starting at 3pm. Real tempting to see the mule 3X in four days.

Yes sir I'm in. After watching the video I'm psyched.

Was watching the old Deep End DVD yesterday with the Dirty Dozen horns and they were diggin' the groove with Warren.

Tomorrow has all the makings of special show.

Just got back, another powerful show by the Mule.

Highlights for me, old school with mule, banks, life before.

Horns were great, blowin' it hard and sweet.

New stuff very nice liked Wake Up Dead, Make It Rain encore.

As usual a couple of songs I  didn't know.

Other thoughts... place was empty, 35$ to park, best big screen video

I've ever seen.  Nice tight shots of Warren, split screens and composites.

Thinking about Bob and Wolfpack, Oct 1st

Oh forgot to mention Warren came out with Otiel`s band for Empty Pages and that was a highlight being I haven't heard that for like 10 years.

Oteil's guitar guys were outstanding sitting in with Warren.
