Nicely played! Would love to see a pro-shot of that. (not complainin'; just sayin'.)

Thanks for posting link.

Ah, when Derek lets it rip like that...absolutely can’t beat that nowadays. Seems to me he always finds a little something extra when playing next to another great lead since the end of the Brothers (like when hes played w/ Warren, Trey, Jimmy, Luther Dickinson, Marcus, etc). Wish it happened more frequently, but when he lets that ABB fire come out, nobody can even touch him

Unreal clip. How I wished the TTB did more of this. Great band but the few times I've seen them they just don't reach my soul.

re: Derek; yes he stretches it when pushed. But when he plays with Jimmy it is even more special. There is a YOUTUBE of the two of them in Atlanta trading riffs. One comment goes "Master and student of one mind"

at the Gilford, NH show 7/07 he played an extended slide solo on Idle Wind that morphed into Sahib Teri Bondi

Later he took control of The Storm and took it into WP

both were mindblowing

I saw 2 mic stands there, but unfortunately the show hasn't surfaced yet
