Been spinning this, it's fantastic. The band's best studio album thus far. Having seen a lot of this material in concert over the past few months, it's definitely better live - they still haven't fully captured the raw energy they have on stage in the studio, so I'm glad they included some cuts from the Beacon. But "Anyhow", "Let Me Get By", and "Don't Know What It Means" are already favorite cuts of mine thus far.

TTB has definitely found their sound - everything blends perfectly, even on earthier stuff like "Just as Strange". Reminds me of a Delaney & Bonnie album even more than their first two, but far more diverse - it blends the Sly-style soul with the earthy Delaney & Bonnie in the same totally organically.
