I tore through this hefty book in 2 days. Powerful story, told with care. I recommend it to any fans of that band. Now I'm goin to go crank up some 'Mats!!

I have this on my bedside table waiting to read it. It was an anniversary gift from my wife, I can't wait to crack into it. I am finishing up "Learning How To Die" about Wilco then moving on to this book.

I loved that Wilco book too, though it was too short. It really raced from like 2002 onward.
The Replacements book is twice as long and takes its time even in the less beloved years from 1989 on.
