Travers Brothership Perform Butch Trucks jam in Asheville with Special Guest Jeff Sipe

Travers Brothership pay tribute to recently deceased Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Butch Trucks of the Allman Brothers Band...with special guests including added double drummer extraordinaire Jeff Sipe at the 17 minute mark, Butch gets a shout out and then drums kick in about 24 mins....then more abb at 34 mins...a pretty damn sweet "Whipping Post"(47:30) .....and a way too fast mess of a "Mountain jam" that is saved by the trumpet player...and so on....FUN STUFF! - Live from Pisgah Brewery from here in Western North Carolina;
Butch Trucks, founder and drummer for the Allman Brothers Band passed away this week. On top of his legacy and talent, he was a great man, and his music has influenced us from the very begining. This Travers Sunday Jam will be a tribute to Trucks. The people of Asheville and Black Mountain are welcome to join us to celebrate his life and legacy at Pisgah Brewing Company.
This will be the 1st time in Sunday Jam history that we will have DOUBLE DRUMS!!!! The Allman Brothers Band always had two drumsets on stage, so we feel this is the appropriate way to pay tribute. Butch Trucks and Jaimoe innovated Blues, Fusion and Rock n' Roll with their beats and rhythms.
Sunday Jam's house drummer, Eric Travers from Travers Brothership will be joined by WNC's own, Jeff Sipe to create a similar space that Butch and Jaimoe did. Big thanks to all of the musicians who came out to join pay tribute! Jeff Sipe, Bob Travers, Agustin Frederic, Josh Clark, Ian McIsaac, Kyle Travers, Alex Bradley, Kyle Snuffer and Melissa Autumn Raines!
