I've seen Sonny Landreth with John Hiatt. He was very good but I wouldn't put him up in my top 5.
I need to listen to more Jack Pearson. That period with Dickey/Jack/Oteil is a hole for me.

I don't know about the top five, but these guys are pretty great,
1. Robert Nighthawk
2. Earl Hooker
3. Duane Allman
4. Dickey Betts (wish he'd continued with it more)
5. Derek Trucks
