Stephen,

I believe it is Doug Davis singing. He has vocal and guitar credits on the album. Marty Privette from the mid/late 1980s Dickey Betts Band played bass and also has vocal credits. Memory tells me that Doug Davis sang that tune.
Danny Toler - though not in the same class as Warren, Jack, and Derek - was a very good player with the curse of being in the ABB when they were on the Arista label.
Some may not know that "Pegasus" from the Tom Dowd produced Enlightened Rogues album was nominated for best instrumental of 1979.

Agree 100% ... and not to forget Dan's wonderful playing with the Gregg Allman Band in the 80ies ... think of I'm no angel and Slip away ... and with Dickey 2003-2005 (?) where he developed a unique playing style on his strat !
