What a fantastic surprise! Another great night in the City. I grabbed tickets to see Jim McCarty's newest version of the Yardbirds. I didn't know what to expect and they blew me away. It's all about the music. Timeless sounds. Jim doesn't bring them around much, but they do small runs of which this run has some remaining dates. John Idan is on guitar and vocals, Johnny A was replaced by Godfrey Townsend on guitar (I like Johnny and was one of the reasons I got tix), Mr. Townsend rocked throughout. Myke Scavone was on Harp and percussion and Kenny Aaronson is on bass. If you're looking for a nice night out with some great music get onboard as this Train Keep's A Rollin'.
