Has anyone else heard this band yet? Their first album came out last year and is really good. They're a young band, but they definitely have influences from the past. But they still sound like themselves, and that's a great thing. Hopefully they'll keep going and give Rock & Roll a good kick in the ass that it desperately needs right now!!!
Saw them for their US record release show at Irving Plaza a year or so ago. That night we caught Joan Jett opening for The Who at MSG first. Then we checked out The Who for a bit, then shot downtown for The Struts show. A very fun night and these guys rock!

On the strength of these recommendations, i gave the album a listen. Not quite my go-to style, but definitely fun rock music.
My wife, who can’t help but surf the net, said people equated to Queen. I didn’t hear that.
But I dead hear a decent amount of Oasis influence. Not in a bad way, not derivative, but enough to say “I hear Oasis here,” several times.
