The Songs Of Love Foundation's 20th Anniversary Show celebrating the Music Of The Allman Brothers Band w/Anastasia Rene', Brett Bass, Jackie Greene, Peter Levin, Scott Metzger, Marc Quinones, Shawn Pelton, & Scott Sharrard. Webster Hall, NYC 10/19/16

Great night. I got there late and missed a couple tunes. It was a few more tunes later that I grabbed the best available spot above crowd in the back to tape. It happened to be too much above, I was attempting to zoom in and out tipitoed. With my fully collapsed tripod on a 6' tarped speaker near the back bar I did what I could. It's not my best grab, It's unsmooth and it's cocked at times, but hey so was I? Untaped was Scott Sharrard's version of Don't Keep Me Wonderin and Dreams'. I was bummed I got there late. I didn't see a set list so I don't know what I missed.

The 1st set was almost a Duane studio coverage set while the 2nd set focused on the ABB's Live At The Fillmore East material. Sometimes true to the original vibe and sometimes daring to stray. Some versions worked better than others, but all in all it was sweet.
As Ronnie Hawkins once happily blurted "Good Times Bill, Good Times..."

The Weight w/Anastasia Rene' on vocals (she was Aretha to Scott's Duane)

Loan Me A Dime (Feat. Jackie G')

IMOER

Statesboro Blues

You Don't Love Me

An amazing show by superior musicians who obviously have a deep love of the music we all have been moved by for almost 50 years.

Have you ever noticed that when the music is playing your eyes tend to close and you just stand there weaving to the tunes and get lost in the groove?

Go see live music and take a few friends with you to the show.

Amen to that Mule!. I also saw your thread with the audio link and set list from this show. I borrowed it and posted it here. Like to hear a spookier, more mysterioso take on the intro to Dreams with more Hammond and less percussion, but I say that about a lot of versions and this one has the VIBE.

This group - overall great music. Love the nod to Duane's studio days. Well handled by great musicians, sorry I was not at this show.

Thanks for posting. They are really good! Wish they would get together for a Chicago show.
