A while back, someone had a good thread about the Meters, I think, and I had mentioned this band the New Mastersounds. The response was that the NMS do stick a little too close to the Meters' template, and that is pretty true, but boy!!! I saw them live for the first time last week, and I would encourage anyone to catch them live. They put on a wonderful show; call it "The Meters On Steroids."

Loved the New Mastersounds ever since I first heard them before they played at High Sierra Music Festival the 1st time. That set blew me away & seen them 12 times since.
