The Music Of Led Zeppelin Show @The City Winery, NYC 3/6/18 (The Rehearsal)

Fun night of Zep Tunes. This show on 3/6/18 was the rehearsal for the Music Of Led Zeppelin Benefit Show @The Carnegie Hall on 3/7/18. Some folks billed for the show didn't make the rehearsal offering. The Zombies, O.A.R., Richie Sambora, Orianthi, Moe., Patty Smyth, & Bustle In Your Hedgerow were some who didn't make it.
I don't feel shorted, What we witnessed was the majority of the blues contributors and I was just fine with it.
The house band included Shannon Conley (v), Andy York (g), Jackie Greene (g/v), Tony Shanahan (b), Andy Burton (k), and Dennis Diken (d). With appearances by Matthew Sweet, Joseph Arthur, Son Little, J Mascis, The London Souls, Ayron Jones, & Living Colour.
I was really impressed with Mellencamp's guitarist Andy York who along with Jackie Greene provided some of the Jimmy Page overdubs. Jimmy took Les Paul's multi-tracking to an art form of overdub heaven. Some Led Zep tunes have more than 5 Jimmy's playing at once. When Jackie and Andy played with the likes of Ayron, Son, Tash, & others it all sounded nice and proper.
Shannon Conley handled the lion's share of the vocal duties filling in on tunes that were played at the Winery, but sung by others at Carnegie. I found a couple articles and posted links below.
