FYI The Jerry Garcia Band is still gigging around the Bay in fact they just did a show in the mountains 30 miles from here about six weeks ago.  I've only seen them once, had to be 5 years ago.  They are still a very potent live act, due in large part to the fact that Melvin Seals is still sitting behind the Hammond.
