The Holy Grail of guitars, the Les Paul "Black Beauty" owned by his friend, guitar tech and co-inventor Tom Doyle, goes up for auction on February 19.

The title of this post is confusing. After checking out the video one finds that it is in fact Les Paul's Les Paul. While quite the musician, inventor, etc., to call him a legendary rocker is stretching it quite a bit although he is a member of the R&R HOF.
