wore out tasty in high school.
just recently got it on cd.

Used to see them live frequently at a club in Brewster, N.Y. called the Fore N Aft in the 70's.
Twisted Sister also used to play there before they broke out.

Many good times in Freeport at The Right Track Inn along with my other main band The Freelance Vandals.

went to the same HS as John Gatto, although he graduated the year before I got there. They played at one of the dances or something when I was there.
Yea, wore out Tasty in HS
Was at one of the shows at My Father's Place when they recorded the live album
great band!!
thanks for posting
(also caught the Vandals back in the day, too)

Many good times in Freeport at The Right Track Inn along with my other main band The Freelance Vandals.
I remember the Right Track.Used to see Volunteers(most of them soon to be the Zen Tricksters if I recall) there a bit.
Lot of good bands,Southern Cross was my favorite bar band
Lots of good clubs -Speaks and Boardy Barn were my faves
As for the Good Rats, they were entertaining.
Biggest thing I remember about them was that they were the opening band for the DB&GS show in Central Park that turned into an ABB reunion.Felt bad for them, they were booed from the stage after 4 or 5 songs as the fans threw the rubber rats that they used to toss to the audience back at them.Poor Pepi was trying to block them with a garbage can cover as they finished their last song.
It wasn't that they were that bad,it was just a bad choice for the kind of band to be opening for DB&GS
