The final show was one year ago today

My how time flies... too bad it doesn't seem like a DVD/BluRay release of the show will likely never see the light of day.
So now that we are a year out, are we farther away from the last ABB show or closer to the next ABB show?

I was there and it was amazing, hard to believe it's been a year. They released the show, though the recording doesn't capture the vibe of the crowd - it was electric in there that night (except for the putz in front of me who slept through the second half of the show). I don't really see the need to release a video of the show unless they improve the audio mix, but then I'm not really one to watch concerts from my couch.

Was there as well and am listening to it right now!
A really incredible night. The intensity (crowd and band) was off the charts. Ironically there was a guy in front of me that sat/slept through the second half as well. He looked like Fidel Castro. Might explain the sleepiness.

I don't recall anyone close to me sleeping. I know I wasn't sleeping.
After the 27th I felt sated. I thought it was a great show and a fitting end.
I'm very, very glad I went to the show on the 28th. The band went further than I ever expected or hoped. It was a wonderful and fitting farewell.
I'm really grateful to the Allman Brothers Band for the many years of stupendous music. That band brought me great happiness and solace in the cold dark night.

loved the final night as well as the night before....I think I miss them more as time passes. TTB is awesome but it ain't the ABB. When it was right and firing on all eight....there was nothing like it. Am grateful for the opportunity to be there that night and 30+ other ones. long live the memories

It was a wonderful night.

I tip my hat to all of the people who went to the final show. That wasn't just a show it was an event. I also tip my hat to all of the brothers of the brother hood. The impact they had on me as a fan and a practicing musician and a fan is unmeasured. When I first got into the ABB back in the mid 90's I never thought that the original lineup would be two thirds of the nine guys that changed my life ( Cream is the other third ). God bless The Allman Brothers Band.

Wish I had been able to go. They definitely went out the right way with an epic show. I remember how emotional I was on the final day and day after last year. I was happy for all my friends who got to experience it.

I'm sure people have seen this (maybe?), but I think it's worth posting. The pro-shot footage of Fillmore is terrific.

So proud of the band for going out on top the way they did.
I have to be judicious on how often to listen to that show because the level of playing is so high that most everything else sounds dull in comparison!
