Looks like this touring outfit is here to stay......they're announcing The Allman Betts Band (it'll have GA's keys man, Johnny Stanchela and Berry Oakley Jr. for sure that's all I know). But that's pretty kicka$$. Happy to see that chemistry working.

From what I've seen they do have good chemistry on stage & Johnny Stachela really rounds out the sound.

wow--how full circle is having Berry on bass, and Devon and Duane? You're right, Johnny Stachela is real good, it will be really interesting to see where they take this band's style
it sounds tremendous, & wonder if they'll play the Nov 1 gig in Augusta, depending on how Dickey is feeling -- hopefully feeling well & happy guessing he'd be real pleased with the formation of this band to carry on the music he helped create -- as well as playing their own stuff -- good wknd & all the best
The Devon Project + Duane opening set in Macon in May was the my favorite Devon performance I've ever seen (have seen many years at Wanee previously).

The official announcement is coming. Their agency has announced it, essentially just to venues and talent buyers. I'm sure there'll be a proper release soon.
