They are playing two nights at The House of Blues here in Chicago in a few weeks. They are hands down my favorite hard rock band. I love the album they did that was all classic rock covers. Last time I saw them at THB you got a bonus CD with your ticket. I think I got five of them. Smile

I've seen them a bunch of times . Last one was when they opened for The Scorpions.

Tesla is a guilt pleasure for me. I grew up in the late 80's with the hair bands and Telsa was always my favorite. They still hold up for me. The are not the ABB or jazzy, but a good dual guitar band that rocks and very much underrated IMHO.

Me too. They were on the radio quite a bit at the time and I got into them. I don't think they were really like "hair metal", but close. I guess kind of like Great White. Tinge of blues in them.

Yeah, they were hard rock but not too obnoxious with the spandex and hairspray.

I liked Cinderella too. "Long Cold Winter" was a pretty bluesy album for the genre.

Tesla is touring with Def Leppard also.

Tesla always leaned more towards the classic rock side of metal. Always surprised me that Frank wasn't a guest at the Beacon over the years.
