Tedeschi Trucks Boston Suprise Opener

Let the guessing begin.
Boston Opener Surprise
TTB’s final two shows of 2014 are at the House of Blues in Boston on December 12 and 13 (tickets available here), and we’re doing something different that we hope you’ll enjoy. We’ve booked an amazing opening act for each night, but we’re keeping them secret until the curtain comes up on the night of the show.
Your only hint: both bands/artists have collaborated with TTB before. Trust us, you won’t want to miss either one, so be sure to show up early and get ready for a great night of music.

Oteil and the Peacemakers and anything having to do with George Porter?

I was thinking George Porter also.
Dickey Betts Band, Taj Mahal Trio, Eric Krasno.

Trigger Hippy and Rich Robinson

Trigger Hippy and Rich Robinson
My first guess would've been Jackie Greene but he's at the Xmas Jam that weekend.

Are the Peacemakers still around?

Gregg Allman Band and Dickey Betts & Great Southern 😉 😉 😉

Working Class Americans?

Jaimoe Jassz Band and Chris Robinson Brotherhood

My 1st guesses were Lettuce / Soulive and Jackie Greene
I'd be happy with anyone mentioned

I am guessing Lettuce and Soulive since I believe they are from the Boston area. Eric Krasno is in both bands and played bass in TTB for a few shows earlier this year.

I'll say The Allman Brothers just to be a contrarian (and an idiot in this case).

any rumors/updates here?
going to Saturday night's show
babysitter arrival, dinner reservations, pre-game locale, all hinge on the opener and I've been tasked with finding out who it is...

it is dickey betts' birthday…..

I'm guessing it is Soulive, and there is some sort of contractual restriction preventing them from being officially on the bill because of their Jan 2nd show in Boston. Just a guess

Gary Clark Jr? Know he just guested w/ then last month and his touring schedule could accommodate it...

Lettuce has nothing scheduled, Soulive is free the 12th not the 13th. Dickey has nothing on his schedule, as does George Porter Jr, Oteil is busy the 13th @xmass jam, Hard working Americans is in the South all weekend... This is getting me excited, love this.....

Worth noting that Robert Randolph & The Family Band are doing a show tonight (Thursday) in Shirley, MA, Friday they're doing a show 4 hours away in Hudson, NY and then there's nothing on their schedule until the 17th. So I'd count them as a possibility Saturday.

Peter Frampton!!!

Butch and Friends.

^ Holy Shit that would rock!

Just walked in--- Soulive it is!!!!

I'm streaming the show... good news about Soulive.

cool
although I was hoping to see them tomorrow

First time I've seen them live. I must say I'm impressed!

The quality of the stream is top notch!

does anyone know what the "ticket time" was for tonight?
tomorrow says doors at 6, show at 7 - I can't imagine the show starting that early.

Soulive started a couple minutes after 8. I'd call the box office. They usually know everything.

That show was outstanding.

tonights show was great, derek was other worldly as always. susan sang beautifully as always and played as well as i have ever seen her. the band was tight and having fun. can't wait to do it again tomorrow. the sound was perfect. great show.
