Tedeschi Trucks Band Cleveland

Some observations from last night's TTB show in Cleveland
1) I stood for the whole show - just like with the ABB at the Beacon.
2) Every song was well received. All were "keepers".
3) Brilliant start with "The Letter" that Susan killed on vocals.
4) Nice Zeppelin tune What is and What Should Never Be with Derek briefly inserting a great guitar solo which had me thinking how much better that great song could have been.
5) Final song before the encore was The Storm I believe. My wife shouted to me that it seemed like an ABB version. Great jamming and then you could hear Ramble On in the background which sent a shiver down my spine.
6) The two - well really three song encore started with Tell Mama ending with Sing a Simple Song/ I Want to Take you higher. Sharon Jones her lead guitar and some horns and Doyle Bramhall II came back on stage. Nice jamming between Doyle and Derek (made me miss seeing Derek and Warren go at it) and Sly's tunes were a perfect ending.
I would highly recommend seeing this band if they come to your neighborhood. I made the decision last night that I will be journeying again to NYC and the Beacon to catch at least one of the four TTB shows late Sept early Oct. For me this band has officially filled the ABB void. Only wish I could purchase recordings of the concerts I attend.

I would be all over TTB at the Beacon this year if I hadn't gone to GD50.
I second that wish to purchase live recordings of this band. I'd have a bunch of em by now.
