I just heard this Skynyrd song called T for Texas. And damn if isn’t a spot on replica of ABB’s version of OWO.

You are right. Perhaps the Allmans used this Jimmy Rogers song's arrangement for their version of One Way Out by Elmore James, Marshall Sehorn and Sonny Boy Williamson 2. 

Or maybe LS used One Way Out for their arrangement of T For Texas.

I'm kind of surprised you had never heard that song before. Skynyrd used to play it quite frequently. I never thought about it but I agree, it does sound a lot like the ABB take on One Way Out. Not a rip-off or anything, but indeed similar.

I'm not surprised OP had never heard it as I haven't either.  Why waste time listening to those guys as it would only take away time to listen to the Allman Brothers!
