Sweetwater 420 Festival

I am SO looking forward to seeing Derek and Susan on Saturday! Should be a picture perfect day, sunny with highs in the 70s. I am sure a lot of folks here will be at Wanee this weekend, but if you are in the Atlanta area you should come out to Sweetwater.
I haven't seen Tedeschi Trucks since 2011, and it would be a drastic understatement to say that they have improved since then. Based on live recordings and videos I've seen/heard, they are practically a different band.
Besides his significant contribution to Col. Bruce tribute at the Fox last year, I haven't seen Derek live in any context since 2013. That is too long to go without seeing a proper show by my favorite living guitarist.
Can't wait!

Have fun Rob! Sang and I saw TTB a few months ago in Chicago and they were very good. I do wish Derek would be more at the forefront than he is but they still put on a great show.
Sure you will have a blast!

Rob we are driving down Sat am for this. We were @ the Col Bruce celebration last May as well. So hoping to see them breakout a Lovelight Sat night in the Col's honor and it would really be special if they invite Taz to sit in. We have tried to catch TTB at least once every year and they always bring it. Miss those days @ the HTN tent! EAPFP!

That was the best TTB set I've seen. 420 Fest was a lot of fun.

Saturday was one of those festival days where the music, the weather and the crowd combine to create a great vibe. Doesn't get much better!
The only think I can even think of to complain about is that TTB was listed as playing until 11, but they were done by 10:25. They had time for another couple of songs at least. I would have loved The Storm>Whipping Post to close it out.
But what they DID play, they played really well. The Midnight In Harlem was just sublime. Check out the webcast here....
