springsteen on broadway

I caught the show last night. Really terrific 2 1/2 hours if you are a Bruce fan. A real celebration of the ups and downs of his life. He is an amazing song writer and his spoke words were truly elegant as well.
Listening to him play his songs acoustic and on piano with no back-up or other instruments was truly remarkable and the versions were amazing. I paid 750 which was the true price of the tickets (won the selection lottery) but for a one-time opportunity as a real fan, i just wanted to see the show.
Glad i did but not for those who are not true Bruce fans.

I am one of his biggest fans and was going to try to get a ticket but the price scared me off. I can't believe how much he got for this.
So he didn't even play acoustic guitar, huh?

yes he played a great deal of acoustic guitar including a phenomenal rendition of Thunder Road which was one of the highlights for me as well as an amazing piano rendition of 10th Avenue Freeze Out which was all about Clarance.

Okay, makes sense. My bad. I thought you meant he ONLY played piano.
