I have EAC on all my computers and have been in the process (years) of archiving all my CDs as time allows.

I do not have a huge knowledge of EAC and always just seem to know enough to get the results I want, but am not sure what is different on this recent install I did on my new desktop.

Not sure if it could be a hardware issue, I kind of doubt it, but if somebody thinks so I could look into it. Computer was built with all new stuff.

Anyway, when I rip a CD with test and compress options usually that takes about 20-30 minutes for a CD on my other machines. On the new download with my desktop it is taking a hour.

Is there a setting that I can adjust to make it go faster? I clicked around the EAC options menu, but nothing jumped out at me.
