I'm dying to hear what anyone thinks, or has to say, about the DVD that came out with the CD.
I haven't seen it yet. Give us some feedback.
Thanks!

Hello Revonah,

Just saw that your post hasn't gotten a single reply yet.

Okay, here's a short review:
Buying the deluxe edition instead of the regular edition is worth the few extra bucks. Without hinting at a "negative" review one of the main reasons is the fact that it's indeed only a few bucks extra. If the deluxe edition would have been much more expensive my review may have been more critical. The bonus DVD is a 30 minutes making of. Footage from recording or rehearsing Southern Blood and the historical importance of the Fame studio are interwoven with interviews with Don Was and Scott Sharrard. They are entertaining. These interviews already have been quoted in various articles. Not much news or scoops for die hard fans like us.
No interview with Gregg was conducted for this short making of documentary. There's not a run through all the song selections. One part of the interview with Scott is focused on "Love Like Kerosene". So this DVD is nice bonus but it are the 2 bonus tracks that probably will be the most interesting feature of this deluxe edition since both songs are extended live versions. "Love Like Kerosene" is almost 7 minutes instead of the 4+ minutes of the studio version. So this deluxe edition isn't essential but well worth the extra bucks.
