Very nice version but this isn't Beth Hart. It's a cover version of Beth's version of Soulshine. The name of the singer and other musicians appear at the start of the track.

Something about the timbre and vibrato of Beth Hart's voice really rubs me wrong. I find her singing incredibly irritating. Just one of those things. Nails on chalkboard to me.

I heard Beth Hart on a radio show one evening sitting out on my back porch. I did not know who she was at the time, all I knew was that whomever this woman/lady/girl was she was KILLING the shite out of this bluesy number. I didn't catch her name at the time and it took me awhile to find her on Youtube. Ever since then I have been a huge fan. She can go from a whisper to a howl in a second and has an amazing range of styles and sounds. And she is a babe!
